Glossop Tours offers a variety of different activities to engage children of all abilities enabling them to understand local and national history.
We provide lessons, talks, demonstrations, walk and tours around and about the local area. We cover most of the curriculum and beyond including the Roman, Victorian, Edwardian eras. We tailor our services around you and your class ensuring a safe and fun learning environment for everyone.
Glossop Tours works very closely with other local organisations, charities and local people in order to save and protect our rich history so you have the best local knowledge available on your doorstep. There are hundreds of photographs and many artefacts which are available and on hand for us to use in our demonstrations.

We can also provide "Memory Boxes" which is filled of photos and artifacts designed to give people a chance to remember & share their stories.
The Memory Box workshop lasts just over an hour with an experienced leader.
